Lovin’ Church

My spirit has been renewed. I am loving church. I loved singing praise songs tonight. Of course we were running a little late tonight and I missed over half of my favorite song, Shout to the Lord, but it was still nice to sing songs the way they were meant to go. There was no real sermon but they talked about the history of the church and how the guy who started the church is headed to Tampa Bay, Florida to start another church. We got to see a video of the church history of our church and then we got to see where he was headed with the new church in Tampa Bay. Our church is a young church only have been around for 24 years yet is one of the largest church in Cincinnati area. They have extended from 5 people meeting in an apartment to a huge church with 4 services roughly about 4,000 people at each service with  and several other smaller churches in the area. It was nice to see where they have come from. Our church is all about giving out free stuff. They love doing small things to show God’s love. Today after service we as a family ran into the Senior Pastor, Dave Workman, it was really neat that he was receptive to Kendra’s wave hi and came over to talk to us. We also love their new check in system for the kids. We get to check them in at the same time the only confusing thing is that they each have the same number so we will have to check both places for them if something happens. Tomorrow we get to sleep in which will be nice since we will be able to go on Saturday nights to church. Tomorrow night we will be having dinner with Matt and Heather. It will be nice to visit with them one and one and get to see Luke in his own element. Since they don’t have the kids every other week we don’t see them as much anymore. It would be nice to ditch all the kids and go out with them but I don’t think that is in the cards anytime soon. Well I need to get ready for bed and relax before going to sleep. Post more soon.
