Hoedown!

We had a great weekend at my parents house. We went to a pumpkin farm and feed some animals, sat on a hay bail, and just walked around looking at the pumpkins. Then we went to World Outreach Church’s Harvest Hoedown with the kids. This is a huge event for that area. It was like a carnival on the church campus only everything was FREE! The kids got their plastic pumpkins filled with candy. They got their first taste of cotton candy and neither of them much cared for it. Kendra actually liked the popcorn over it much better. Ephriam really like to get to pet the animals that they had there in a mini petting zoo. They even had a Zebra, Camel, and a Zonkey (no that is not spelled wrong it is a cross between a Zebra and a Donkey). He was also happy to have a balloon and since he had one Kendra had to have one too. Kendra’s favorite thing was the people singing the kids songs. She even participated with them. She loves now to hold her finger up to do ‘This Little Light of Mine’. I hope that my parents enjoy having them there at their house even though we did wear them out. We are looking forward to our visit with them for Thanksgiving.
