Friend and Family Weekend

The weekend of 1-25 Through 1-26 was a time for us to get together with our friend and family. We had lots of people come in from out of town to visit with us and had a very special birthday celebration.

On Friday we were suppose to get together with Matt and Heather only my newphew ended up being sick again and they wanted to let him rest of the big party on Sunday so that they didn’t have to move that party back. So we hung out at home and just hung out as a family.

On Saturday we got up and went to brunch with friends of ours that used to live in Cincinnnati but now live in Hendersonville, TN. It was really nice to get to see them while they were in town since our kids are about the same age they played well together. Kendra was a monkey and tried to keep up with Ephriam. I ended up having to get her down several times from the play area because bigger kids were running her over so she was then happy for a while to stay by the younger kids. We also got to see friends of our who live in town that we don’t get to see too often. They have a precious little boy who we got to meet for the first time. It was nice to catch up with everyone and then head back home for nap time and then went to church as usual.

Sunday we stayed at home most of the day and then went over to Matt and Heather’s for Chris’ Mom’s Birthday Party. It was really great to get to spend time with all of our family there. The kids had a great time with their cousins. They really liked it when Luke got in his jumperoo and they were able to jump next to him. Luke thought it was funny too and it was nice to see the 3 of them play together. We stayed over there pretty late so the kids were wiped out when they got home. The sure do sleep well when they are so tired.
